Chobe National Park
In the Chobe National Park some of the highest concentrations of wildlife can be found. The area around the Chobe River - one of Arika's most beautiful rivers- is home to large herds of elephants and cape buffalo's and to more than 460 different species of birds.

Kalahari Desert

Maun
As the gateway to the Okavango Delta, Maun is Botswana's most touristic city. Both modern buildings and native huts form the face of the city. Some of the hotels provide a spectactular view over the Okavango River.

Okavango Delta
Last but not least, the "jewel" of the Kalahari desert: the Okavango Delta. The Delta is fed by the Okavango River, Southern Africa's third biggest river. The fan-shaped Delta forms a unique ecosystem which is famous for its diversity of plants and animals.
